Guys are usually not that great at hiding the clues that they are thinking about leaving a woman that they are in a relationship with. That is a good thing as long as you are able to spot the signs that he may be leaning towards leaving. While he is probably not going to just drop the news that he is thinking of leaving, there are almost always pretty clear signs that he is thinking about leaving you. As long as you are ready to look for those signs, then you should probably also be able to find a way to make him change his mind.
Now, you may be thinking that you are not sure what the correct signs that you should be looking for are. That is okay. This article should shed some light on what some of the signs that he is thinking about leaving you are. You may be feeling a little bit weird about having to take this kind of approach with your boyfriend, but that is just the way that it goes sometimes. It would be worse if you were to ignore those signs and then find out that one day, he is just ready to leave you.
These are 3 signs that you should be looking for if you are worried he is going to leave you:
1) Your boyfriend makes sure that he always has a way to get out of the relationship if he needs to.
Commonly, this is a pretty obvious sign that women will not pay attention to until it is too late. Fact is, most guys who are looking for their way out have done so since the beginning. Meaning, he made sure that he did not get into a situation that he could not easily get out of. He will usually do this in such a way that it does not leave him feeling guilty about the situation.
Here is an example of what I mean by this: A man and a woman both relocate to a new town or a city and instead of wanting to share a place to live, he makes sure that the two of them live separately. On the surface it may seem like a good idea. Beneath that surface, a lot of the time the reason for wanting to live separately like this is so that he has his own place and he can feel like he can leave the relationship at any time that he wants to.
2) You are not a part of the plan when he wants to go out and socialize.
This is another clear cut sign most of the time. There are those guys that do like to just hang out with their male buddies and do guy stuff and sometimes that may be the reason why he wants to go out and do his own thing. So, that may be an exception to this. The real clue is when he does this and it represents a big change in the relationship.
If he starts to make more and more plans to go out and you are not a part of that plan when you used to be… that may be a good sign that what you need to do is find a way to pull him back to you. Going out every now and again separately can be a good thing. When it becomes the only way that he wants to go out and socialize, that is usually a clear sign that he may want to leave you.
3) You notice that he seems to want to pick a fight with you all of the time.
There are two reasons why this pops up in the relationship. One is that you are going through that phase where you are really trying to become “one” and that is enough to start a lot of arguments right there. Another reason and the one that you need to be worried about is that he is trying to pick that fight that is going to end the relationship.
A lot of the time the guy will do this just because he is not really able to break up and he is hoping that all of the arguing will lead you to want to break up with him. Or, it may be that he is just finding that you are not his type anymore. Either way, you do need to pay attention to this.
